EXPANDING WITH THE
MEETING INDUSTRY

Tecnoconference is 40 years old. We made history in the Meeting Industry and today we want to celebrate this milestone by retracing all the steps, without overlooking what we were, and envisaging what we are going to be.

In 1975 the “International Congress on Cancer” opened in Florence, the first ever held at the Palazzo dei Congressi: Mario, our founder, was among the audio-video technicians. It was 1983 when Tecnoconference was founded.

We have witnessed the birth, expansion and success of our company as a leader in Italy for events technology. We began with tube amps and reached the metaverse and augmented reality to project ourselves into a future with no distances, continuing to innovate and invest in order to diversify and be ready for the challenges of the future.

OUR
PRESENT

With a nationwide and international presence – with more than 60 employees, more than 150 external contractors and 43 international partners – we handle an average of 1,800 events per year with 4,000 technicians deployed even during the pandemic.

Since 2020 we have emerged as Hybrid & Virtual Specialists thanks to a sound base of IT skills, which resulted in us winning the FCE AWARDS 2023 again this year in the innovation category for the project “EUS Skyline: oltre i confini“.

Behind the scenes, yet as key players, we have been transforming concepts into real projects for 40 years through outstanding technological services, design and creative skills.

We have achieved unexpected goals and paved the way for new and longstanding partnerships.

Today we are the official technology partner, alongside Tecnoconference Europe, of the EUR Spa | Rome congress centre. Thanks to our sound know-how and experience in the Meeting Industry, RTI won first place for event management in Rome’s two leading conference centres: the Roma Convention Center (La Nuvola) and the Palazzo dei Congressi.

We are also the official partner of Palazzo Wanny, a leading Florence-based company that offers its clients the best in event services.

CONNECTED

In 40 years Tecnoconference forged countless connections and successful partnerships. Including the most recent ones with the leading magazines in the Events & Meetings Industry.

We will be featured in Ediman 50 years special, with an ADV celebrating our 40 years. Our latest publications include an interview with our CEO – Lisa Grotti for the cover “Technology in the Events World”. Worthy of note is the involvement, as a lecturer, of our Key Account ManagerAlberto Boccanelli in Junior For Training, which is the training programme for excellence aimed at young people under 30. Our presence on the Federcongressi&eventi website and Matrix was renewed.

Furthermore, we note a growth in our online presence, in this last year alone, of 76%.
