IN FLORENCE
Architect Spadolini was entrusted with the design of the Palazzo dei Congressi in the famous Villa Vittoria in the centre of Florence, and work began in 1966. As Avvocato Ariani, the Secretary General, recalled: “Since the opening of the first hall in 1967, the Congress Centre’s activities have grown steadily, reaching the world market with the 10,000-person World Cancer Congress in the early 1970s.
1983

TECNOCONFERENCE
The company soon acquired exclusive contracts for the Palazzo dei Congressi and the more modern Palazzo degli Affari. The steady growth in demand led in the late 1980s to the opening of branches in Rome (Tecnoconference Europe) and Naples (Tecnoconference Mediterranea).

TUTTOEVENTI
Thanks to his pragmatic approach and distinctly progressive view, in 1999 TuttoEventi was established, an in-house software house with the aim of diversifying the audiovisual service with the IT component, combining know-how and innovation in the R&D of unique IT products applied to events management.

The system represents a unique high-tech breakthrough on the national and European scene. The software offers IT-based management of the traditional manual procedures for transmitting speeches to the conference rooms and makes in-room presentations more dynamic.
2004
COSTITUZIONE DI
TC GROUP
Creation of TC Group, formed by Tecnoconference, Tuttoeventi and the TC branches in Rome and Milan.
TC Group was born as a Group in 2004 to include:
- Tecnoconference: AV company with offices in Rome and Milan.
- Tuttoeventi, now Meetbit, in-house software house.
A unique AV&IT BUSINESS MODEL in the Italian and European scene that allows the company to rank as a leader in the association and institutional events market and to work with major event organisers, major conference centres and national and international associations.
2009
DESIGN AND CREATION
OF THE FIRST
E-LEARNING PLATFORM
FOR CME PURPOSES
The first e-learning platform was built in 2009 by the internal software house to support clients in the management of mandatory training courses in the medical sciences.
2010
APP EVENT TOOL
With the growing success and use of mobile devices, the company’s software house built a platform for the use of event-related multimedia content through customised event APPs. The innovation lies in the real time upgrading of the content itself, thanks to full integration with the TC Group Software Suite.
2013

PARTNER EXPO
In addition to the EU pavilion, Tecnoconference managed around 150 interpreting events in the EXPO Auditorium and Conference Centre, with up to a thousand receivers involved. These included the World Agriculture Forum, the World Culture Forum, and FAO World Day: for all three events we also managed the filming and broadcasting to RAI channels.

LIVEBIT BECOMES
A 100% LIVE VIRTUAL
EVENTS PLATFORM
The Livebit platform is a comprehensive package for advanced event video content management. With the onset of pandemic and lockdown of residential events Livebit is created to become a virtual event delivery platform. Livebit incorporates interaction and content sharing areas in a fully customisable graphic. It manages access and participant tracking for full event reports.

POLICIES
TC Group and its companies fully adhere to the policy of limiting environmental impact. This happens starting from the company’s internal routines where the use of paper is reduced to a minimum, as well as the use of eco-friendly products and their proper disposal, up to the regular maintenance of mobile vehicles so that exhausts and energy supplies are always in full efficiency.
Tecnoconference since 2021 has joined the project Treedom, making an estimate of the environmental impact of its activities within the single contract in terms of kg of CO2 produced. This amount is converted – according to the Treedom Standard – in a number of trees that Tecnoconference will plant through the Treedom project.
