Baker Hughes’ Annual Meeting brings together global leaders from the oil and gas industry to discuss key industry issues. It is one of the most anticipated events of the year, internationally, with 1800 highly profiled participants from all over the world.

In this 22nd edition – with the theme “Balance/Momentum” – the focus was on the need to balance the tri-lemma of energy: economy, sustainability and security, maintaining the momentum to tackle climate change and achieve a zero emissions future.

A great hybrid event with a 1000-seat plenary hall, an auditorium of 400-seat, 7 tech rooms, 2 lighting talk rooms and an impressive stand area. A logistical and operational effort of significant importance to which we took part mobilizing more than 40 technicians, covered a total area of about 50 square meters of ledwall, setting up a directing 4k four-camera and a 4k two-camera, used 60 radio microphones and 60 personal computer for all AVL services, streaming and simultaneous translation.

To host the event, two exceptional locations the Maggio Fiorentino Theatre and the Leopolda Station of Florence, an ancient railway station of the first half of the nineteenth century unique in its kind and protected for its historical and artistic value. An area of about 6.000 square meters, divided into two main areas: the Stazione Leopolda and the Spazio Alcatraz.
