The International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO) held its Annual Meeting in Rome from 11 to 13 February 2022. The Italian organizing committee, formed by AIM Group International, EGA Worldwide Congresses & Events, OIC Group, has designed and held an event focused on the importance of partnership between the players in the business.
The post-pandemic calls for an extra effort in this area in order to overcome the social, economic and clinical difficulties of a “Post Covid”. Tecnoconference has been chosen as Technology Partner by the organising board.

We took care of all the technological and creative aspects of the event, assisting the planners in devising the best layout to satisfy the needs of a hybrid event. Projection areas designed for varied contents and subjects for an immediate understanding of the event layout by the participants.
LEDWALL
The creative department studied and realised all the video contents and the animated sets that conveyed – together with the music consulting activity – a dynamism to the event. We contributed our expertise in the management of live online streaming, which switched between in-person and remote speeches, as well as ensuring that the speakers were connected from various locations around the world, providing full smoothness and interaction during the sessions.
CAMERAS FOR VIDEO DIRECTION
The direction of the event – handled by us – relied on three cameras, a specially designed stage and architectural lighting of the hall and a projection on three LED screens that enhanced the potential of one of the most iconic hotels in the capital, the Rome Cavalieri.
ON-SITE PARTICIPANTS
At the Gala Dinner held in one of the most impressive venues in the Eternal City, Villa Miani, we studied the setting, creating the right mood for a social function by projecting architectural features, illuminating the various rooms according to their purpose, and generating visuals based on the selected theme.
